SUNDAY, SEPT 19, 2021
This emergency board meeting was called to order by President Ina Getzoff at 3:05PM. The meeting was requested by Treasurer Larry Schulman for the express purpose of determining when membership for a member who has not paid their annual dues by Sept. 1 of a given year is terminated. This rule does not include life members or guests.
Before the discussion began a motion was made by Vice President Joel Sisitsky and seconded by board member John Cole to remove the existing motion made at the board meeting of August 25, 2021 to table discussion of this motion. Joel’s motion was voted on and passed unanimously.
After much discussion and several opinions including the fact that the protocol that presently exists was in place pre-pandemic for our snowbirds and how it has changed in the new “electronic age”, A motion was made by Mona Morris to end discussion and vote on the motion at hand. Mona’s motion was seconded by Joel Sisitsky.
The motion made and voted on is the following: All members wishing to attend a general meeting (other than guests) in person or through zoom shall be required to have paid their dues at the time of the meeting or must have made appropriate arrangements to pay their dues.
This motion was voted on by the entire board and passed unanimously.
This meeting was adjourned at 4PM
