Board Minutes 2022-04-27

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][alg_back_button][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The meeting was called to order by President Ina Getzoff at 1PM. As acting secretary she read the minutes for the meeting of March  2022 which were accepted without correction.

TREASURER’S REPORT:
Treasurer Larry Schulman presented the bank statement. The board unanimously approved his report.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
MEMBERSHIP: Membership Vice President Joel Sisitsky reported membership.

PROGRAMMING:
Program chair Beryl Cole reported status of upcoming May 11th, 2022 meeting which is a zoom tour of the ANU Museum in Israel.

ELECTION
We reviewed how our elections process will be done. John explained how the zoom meeting handles polls so that we can have the election. All found this interesting, and we observed a demonstration of the zoom election process so all directors could see how this would show up on their zoom session. We will send out another poll / questionnaire to obtain the profession and hobbies of our members. This will be an aid to ask our members to be on various committees and serve other roles. We nominated Larry Shulman to be the treasurer until we have a replacement. He agreed to do it until August 31st or until we find a new treasurer. We will be asking other experienced people to join our board.
